CORE Community Projects
CISV Connection
The CORE program is involved with Pat Bears and her efforts to develop a community garden at 10 Birch Street to help to supply the homeless shelter with healthy vegetable soup for their kitchens. Recently we have added a new bench to the garden setting and also made one for the cooperative extension garden project led by John Jemison. We are proud to be affiliated with two people that care so much for their community.
UMaine Connection
Core now has access to the fitness center at umaine for its phsyical fitness requirement. All students attend and enjoy a variety of activities including, free weights, aerobic workouts, basketball, racketball, swimming and a host of other programs offered at the university
